I do not understand the arrivals of these pumpkins.

Are they a part of this "Halloween" people speak of?

Considering the size and shape, yes. And you can always find pumpkins in different sizes to meet any need.

Absolutely and when pumpkins aren't in season there are many other things you could use instead. Just takes a little creativity.
